The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at our Series A SaaS company plays a pivotal role in shaping the technological direction of the organization. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CTO is responsible for overseeing all aspects of technology strategy, development, and innovation, with a strong focus on artificial intelligence (AI) integration. This leadership role requires a combination of technical expertise, strategic vision, and team management skills to drive the company’s growth and success in a rapidly evolving SaaS landscape.

Responsibilities:

Technology Strategy:

• Collaborate with the executive team to define and execute the company’s technology

  roadmap, with a particular emphasis on leveraging AI capabilities to enhance

  product offerings and user experiences.

• Lead the development and implementation of a scalable and efficient technology

  architecture, integrating AI-driven solutions to support the company’s growth trajectory.

  AI Integration and Innovation:

• Champion the integration of AI technologies into the SaaS platform, driving

  innovations that leverage machine learning, natural language processing, and data

  analytics.

• Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to develop AI-powered

  features and functionalities that align with customer needs and market trends.

  Product Development:

• Provide strategic guidance to the product development teams, ensuring that

  AI-driven enhancements are incorporated to deliver advanced and personalized

  solutions.

• Oversee the development of AI-infused features, predictive analytics, and intelligent

  automation to optimize user engagement.

  Technical Leadership:

• Mentor and lead a high-performing engineering and development team, fostering a

  culture of AI expertise, collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation.

• Guide technical decisions and architectural designs to ensure seamless integration

  of AI technologies within the platform.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales,

  marketing, and customer support, to align AI-driven initiatives with business

  objectives.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand customer feedback and needs,

  translating them into actionable AI strategies.

  Risk Management and Security:

● Implement AI ethics guidelines, data privacy measures, and security protocols to

ensure responsible and secure AI integration across the platform.

• Proven track record of leadership and success in driving technology strategy, product development, and AI integration within a SaaS environment.

• Strong technical background with expertise in software engineering, architecture design, cloud technologies, and AI/machine learning.

• Experience leading and managing high-performing engineering teams with an AI focus.

• In-depth knowledge of SaaS business models, market trends, competitive landscape, and AI advancements.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

  (advanced degrees preferred).
